About Us

Just like the content on the site, this blurb about us will be to the point. I started this site in mid 2002 because I was tired of going from specialty mac site to specialty mac site, lost in a maze of , well, confusion. I noticed that there are several PowerBook devoted sites out there, and some are pretty good ones too. However, some sites say one thing, while others contradict or list different information (i.e. PowerBook specifications); which can be problematic. Often times, the information I wanted was buired in non-pertinent information. In the end, the result was a vast amount of time spent trudging through loads of information through hundreds of different sites that could have been compressed significantly. My mission here was and still is to create a be all end all PowerBook Resource site where the user can find all the answers that they are looking for, and quickly. I have and am still trying to bring all that PowerBook knowledge found all over the web at different sites to one location: Here. Basically I am defragmenting the PowerBook resources found all over the web and compressing the data on this one site. I am not prefessing that this is the best PowerBook site, but my mission is to make it just that.

The concept for me as the sole content contributor is simple: Keep it simple. Each PowerBook on this site has its own page. That page is supposed to be like a Hanes manual that you can buy for cars. No need to look around at other books for answers, they are all right in the manual. Now, the site is new and building, but there is a wealth of knowledge on each PowerBook page.
